ROS Software Maintainer: Clearpath Robotics

Dingo is a compact, lightweight and cost-effective indoor robotic platform that is extensible and programmable, and designed to accelerate robotics research and education. Dingo is offered in two drive configurations – differential and omnidirectional – making it suitable for a wide range of indoor robotics applications ranging from autonomous navigation, mobile manipulation, and mapping. Its lightweight, compact design and accompanying tutorials also make it ideal for classroom and lab teaching.

Dingo includes an integrated PC running Ubuntu 18.04 and ROS Melodic. To install the software on your control computer, first ensure that you are using Ubuntu 18.04 LTS, and have ROS Melodic installed. Then grab the Dingo packages:

sudo apt-get install ros-melodic-dingo-desktop
