Eigen

Proposal: we will offer to upgrade everyone from eigen2 to eigen3. We will provide sed scripts, guides, and assistance for all indexed code.

Special cases:

• kdl: we will patch against the released kdl to migrate to eigen3. We will offer the patch upstream and inquire about migrating future kdl's to eigen.

navigation:

• blocking on laser_pipeline, which is blocking on eigen3 issues
• 1.3.1 hasn't gone out yet
• now supports pointcloud2
• need to doc review dwa_local_planner
• prepare 1.4 release notes

eigen:

• currently running against eigen2 test suite, but tests are failing
• ETA on full support: unknown
• need to remove our mangled code with sed script
• our alternative is to port stuff forward
  • Lets go ahead and start porting high priority items forward

geometry

• make kdl work with eigen3
• rest of stack hasn't changed, so ready to go when eigen is

pcl

• deadline: doc review (eitan, patrick, suat). Deadline 1/26
• move pcl_android elsewhere, as useful as it is
