rosnxt is a collection of software packages for using the NXT brick and sensors in ROS.

The aim of this stack is to provide ROS integration with NXT and every NXT sensor out of the box.

It consists mainly of two software pieces:

  • rosnxt_proxy: the ROS node which communicates with the NXT brick and provides services and topics;

  • rosnxt_lejos_firmware: the proxy counterpart running on the NXT brick, on top of the leJOS firmware.
