Copernicus Operating Guidelines

The following are instructions on how to use the operate Copernicus safely and the functions of the LED Display Panels.

Operating Guidelines:

  • Before operating Copernicus, ensure that it is being placed in a clear and open area.
  • Ensure that the Emergency stop is disengaged before running the Move_Base node, and that Copernicus’s LED display panel is emitting green light.
  • A guideline for the status LED indicators when operating Copernicus:

    Blue

    On State

    Blue Blink

    Initializing

    Green

    Connected to ROS

    Red (Blinking)

    Hardware Error

    Orange

    Charging

    Red

    Emergency Stop Enabled

  • During the process when the Emergency stop is engaged during the navigation stack, please restart the program and re-run the code with the Emergency Stop disengaged.
